Cytokine levels of peripheral blood mononuclear cells in the clinical cases of Holstein calves infected with Mycoplasma bovis

The immune related factors of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were analyzed in the clinical cases with ( ) infection. Seventy-eight Holstein calves in one farm were used. These calves were divided into three groups; the calves with infection of poor outcome aftertreatment (Non-Recovery Group), the calves with infection recovered (Recovery Group) and clinically healthy calves (Control Group). Blood samples were collected atdays of the first medical treatment and the final treatment or euthanasia. IL-17A levels in the Non-Recovery Group were higher than those in the Recovery Group on both days. Our resultsuggested that the IL-17A of PBMC is an important factor to affect outcome of the calves with infection.
