AEW treatment activates spinal cord NLRP1 inflammasome in mice. The scheme of experiments with AEW-induced dry skin itch. Photographs of shaved mouse backeck after AEW treatment. Statistical results showing AEW treatment increased the number of spontaneous scratches, = 10. – Representative immunoreactive bands and statistical results showing AEW treatment increased the protein expression of NLRP1, ASC and caspase-1 in the spinal cord, = 6. – Statistical results showing AEW treatment increased the mRNA levels of NLRP1, ASC and caspase-1 in the spinal cord, = 6, Data are expressed as means ± SEM, < 0.05 and < 0.01 vs control group.
