Considering the problem of oversized building of stations in urban rail transit, authors put forward a box-type traction substation as the solution. Based on all functions required for a traction substation, they compared the buildingtype traction substation and box-type traction substation in terms of the sizes of station buildings, the construction period,reliability and construction investment, operation and maintenance, and suggested the application of box-type traction substation for urban rail transit.%针对国内城市轨道交通工程中车站建筑体量过大的问题,提出采用箱式牵引变电所的解决方案.根据牵引变电所的功能需求,综合比较站内房屋式牵引变电所与箱式牵引变电所在车站建筑规模、工期控制、可靠性、工程投资和运营维护等方面的差异,提出箱式牵引变电所的工程应用建议.
