从大国迈向强国:改革开放40年中国工程教育

     

摘要

Since the implementation of the Reform and Opening-Up Policy,China’s engineering ed-ucation has experienced 40 years of development from recovery and adjustment,adjusting development, scale expansion to quality improvement.Such a four-stage development not only makes China become the largest engineering education system in the world,but also lays a solid foundation for the construc-tion of high quality engineering education.Based on rich and detailed data,this paper analyzes the scale,structure,quality,effectiveness,and reform focus of China’s engineering education in the four development stages respectively,and summarizes the main achievements in the past 40 years.The find-ings suggest that China's engineering education has made great contribution to the economic develop-ment,social progress,and national rej uvenation of China.%改革开放以来中国工程教育走过了40 年的发展历程,经历了从恢复调整、调整发展、规模扩张到质量提升四个阶段,这不仅使中国工程教育规模跃居世界首位,而且使我国在建设工程教育强国的道路上迈出了坚实的步伐.基于丰富详实的文献数据,本文分别从上述四个阶段梳理不同发展时期中国工程教育的规模、结构、质量、成效和改革重点,在此基础上总结40 年中国工程教育发展的主要成就,指出我国工程教育为经济发展、社会进步和民族复兴作出了巨大贡献.
