Comparison test was conducted on cane varieties GNY08-212, GT08-1589, GT07-25, GT07-1062, GT07-108, and ROC22 (as the CK) to investigate their agronomic traits and economic characters, and to evaluate their possibility of mass production. The results showed that GNY08-212 performed mid-to-small cane with strong ratooning ability, tall stalk, plenty millable stalks, high cane yield and high sucrose content. But it's hard to be defoliated and with hard stems which is disadvantageous for harvesting and therefore difficult to be extended for mass production due to the current manual harvesting situation. GT07-25 and GT07-1062 are low in cane yields and therefore are hard to be extended. GT07-108 showed mid-to-large cane with ordinary performance and needed more observation.%通过对桂南亚08-212、桂糖08-1589、桂糖07-25、桂糖07-1062、桂糖07-108,以ROC22(对照)进行新植品比试验,探索其农艺性状和经济性状,评估其在生产上的推广价值.结果表明:桂糖08-1589综合性状较好,属中大茎品种,蔗茎产量高,优于ROC22,很有应用前景.桂南亚08-212属中小茎品种,分蘖力强,植株较高,有效茎多,蔗茎产量高,糖分高,但不易脱叶,蔗茎较硬,不易人工砍收,在目前人工砍收的条件下,推广有一定的难度.桂糖07-25、桂糖07-1062由于产量低而影响其应用推广.桂糖07-108属中大茎品种,新植表现一般,有待进一步观察.
