PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate acquisition of comparable items of merchandise information by consumers visiting multiple stores to find right merchandise items to buy.SOLUTION: First, a user visits a first store and acquires, by bringing a user terminal close to an IC tag attached to a merchandise item sold at the first store, first store merchandise information on a merchandise item the user wishes to buy. When the same user next visits a second store different from the first store, second store merchandise information on the merchandise item identified by the first store merchandise information and sold at the second store is collectively transmitted to the user terminal (step 34).
