The design and optimized process of inertial-measurement-unit (IMU) pedestal on launch vehicles is proposed in this paper. Focusing on the design of the IMU pedestal, an optimization procedure of kinds of key structural components like IMU pedestal is presented, and a design measure of organized combination of several FEM softwares and engineering methods is summarized, which can be referred in the design of relevant products. After some iteration steps of topology optimization, engineering design, and rigid analysis, a design scheme of the IMU pedestal, as a novel installation of the IMU, is obtained in this paper, which can be referred in the future designing of the similar structures.%介绍了一种运载火箭惯组基座的优化设计过程。围绕该惯组基座的设计,在文中,给出了惯组基座等一类关键结构部件的优化设计流程,介绍了综合利用几种有限元分析软件与工程设计有机结合的设计手段,可供相关产品研制时参考。经过拓扑设计、工程设计与刚度分析等几轮工作,本文获得了一种惯组基座设计方案,作为一种新形式的惯组安装方式,可供未来类似结构的设计参考。
