The principle of hydraulic coupling and assembly and installation methods are described based on the reinstallation of the hydraulic coupling on a 10 000 ton class cargo ship. It also analyzes the calculation method of the installation parameters that inlfuence the torque transfer capacity and the correlation among these parameters.
