The paper introduces the polyp, the brown filaments, gathering the inner walls and filter heads of some water resource pipelines, ana-lyzes the reasons for the increasing growth of the polyp, adds the sodium hypochlorite to restrain its growth and lose the activation, so as to elimi-nate the coagulating sedimentation and avoid the polyp’ s entrance into the filter pool, adopts the concentrated hydrochloric acid to cleanse quick-ly to remove the plugging matters washed by water.%对某源水管道内壁上和滤池滤头内发现密集的黄褐色丝状物即水螅进行了介绍，分析了水螅大量生长的原因，通过预加次氯酸钠，抑制水螅附着生长并使其失去活性，从而在混凝沉淀中有效去除水螅，避免其进入滤池，并采取浓盐酸快速涮洗堵塞后的滤头，再用清水冲洗，有效去除了堵塞物。
