PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross-linked polyethylene tube having excellent pressure tightness and moreover satisfactory in piping workability and productivity.;SOLUTION: The cross-linked polyethylene tube having a density of 0.939-0.946 g/cm³ is formed such that maximum push-in force to a shield tube in a piping workability test using model piping is kept to 300 N or less and that the breaking time of the tube in a hot internal pressure creep test is 170 hours or more by enhancing pressure-proof durability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
