基于语料库的FAO农业英语中的动词名词化分析

摘要

Extensive use of verbal nominalization is one of the distinctive features of the English of science and technology, so is in the FAO agricultural English. With the help of corpus software, this study analyzes the frequency and the characteristics of verbal nominalization in the self-built FAO Agricultural English corpus, and briefly discusses the reasons of its extensive use of verbal nominalization.%大量使用动词名词化是科技英语，亦是FAO农业英语的显著特点之一。通过自建FAO农业英语语料库，本文利用语料库技术分析了FAO农业英语动词名词化的使用频率和特点，并简要讨论了其大量使用动词名词化的原因。
