The shift from OEM to ODM and OBM reflects the expansion of the scope of activity in the vertical value chain of the manufacturers, and is also an inexorable result of upgrading business and strengthening international competitiveness.The thesis explores the basic routes of strategic transformation of Chinese OEM enterprises and the major issues confronting them in the face of financial crisis based on integration of relevant theoretical views.
