奥巴马就财政悬崖发表的讲话的批判话语分析

摘要

This paper is a tentative move whose aim is to use the newly developed framework initiated by Norman Fairclough and Isalela Fairclough(2012), which incorporates argumentative theo-ry into CDA, to examine how political discourse justify its claim. By so doing, we can hope that it can increase the capacity of CDA to pursue its aim of extending critique to discourse. The chosen data in this paper comes from the president of American, Barack Obama's speech on the Fiscal Cliff.%　　本文是一片探索性分析，旨在以诺曼·菲尔克拉夫以及伊莎贝拉·菲尔克拉夫的政治辩论理论结合批判话语分析的框架为基础，来研究政治家们如何辩证自己的观点。这种做法的目的是探索政治辩论理论如何增加批判话语分析的分析效力。本文所采取的文本来自于美国总统巴拉克·奥巴马针对2012年末2013年初的财政悬崖的讲话。
