The model about the traditional teaching is that: in the limited time, the teacher is busy expressing and writing;students are busy listen-ing and taking notes. But as time goes on, the traditional teaching can not adapt to the modern learning environment which involves lots of open, large amount of information. Self-study ability helps students to learn more knowledge by using plenty of spare time. Furthermore,it is particularly important for university students, as the future of our country and new strategic resource, to have self-study ability.
