Objective To investigate the value of computer tomography (CT) findings in the diagnosis of intracerebral calcification in hypoparathyroidism (HP). Methods CT findings of 20 patients which have nerval symptom caused by HP were analyzed with anatomy and pathology. Results Twenty patients had symmetrical distribution of intracerebral calcification. The calcification was observed in lentiform nucleus (20 cases), caudate nucleus (19 cases) , dentate body of cerebellum (19 cases) , thalamus (15 cases) , semioval center (13 cases) , subcortical areas (18 cases) , brain stem (4 cases) , and internal capsule (2 cases). The shape of calcification was related to its anatomic form. The calcification was uneven. Between semioval center and subcortical areas, it displayed like a watershed. Brain atrophy could be seen in 5 patients. Conclusions CT imaging of soft tissue and bone window image can exactly display the feature of intracerebral calcification in hypoparathyroidism, which reflects that calcareous infarct is related to anatomy and pathology.%目的 探讨甲状旁腺功能减退症( hypoparathyroidism,HP)脑部钙盐沉着的CT影像特征.方法 20例HP并有神经症状患者均接受头颅CT检查,结合解剖及病理分析CT影像特征.结果 20例患者脑实质内均有钙化,呈对称性分布,钙化位于豆状核20例、尾状核及小脑齿状核19例、丘脑15例、白质半卵圆中心13例、皮质下区8例、脑干4例、内囊2例;钙化形状与钙化沉着解剖形态相似,密度不均匀,其中白质半卵圆中心、皮质下区钙化呈分水岭样分布,可见线样致密区;伴有脑萎缩5例.结论 CT软组织窗及骨窗图像能准确显示HP所致脑部钙盐沉着的特征,一定程度上反映了钙盐沉着与解剖及病理有关.
