The Most Important Factors in Raising a Bilingual Child

This article explores four important factors in raising a bilingual child based on the book A Parents’and Teachers’Guide to Bilingualism written by Collin Baker.Some suggestions for parents are also provided in the second part of the article.It is hoped that the discussion helps parents to clear certain doubts about bilingualism and serves as an introduction as well as guidance for families that intend to or are trying to raise a bilingual child.
