Using Freud’s Theory of Personality Structure Analysis The great Gatsby

By using Freud’s theory of personality structure, this paper analyzes Fitzgerald who is the author of The great Gatsby and his characters Gatsby and Nick, in order to explore their differences between personality structure theory and their fates. Although Fitzgerald is related to his work The great Gatsby, there are still contradiction among three personality structures of id,ego and superego.
