Sidney’s Reception in 20th Century

摘要

As the most important work of literary theory published in the Renaissance, An Apology for Poetry(or The Defence of Poesy) by Sir Philip Sidney still infulences the poetry creation and criticism in 20th century.The essay explores the reception of Sidney’s views in modern literature from the aspects of New Criticism, Readers-Respons and modernist poems.
