The problem of interpersonal relation-ships attracts more concern, understanding more information about the cultural difference among countries can make our communi-cation easier and smoother, this essay is mainly about the contrast of interpersonal relationships between China and America from the factors that influence the interpersonal relationships, the contrast of types and the orientations and some strategies to deal with the intercultural relationships. To improve intercultural relationships, one must have a wealth of knowledge to reduce the degree of uncertainty and carry out a successful communication.
