Toni Morrison's Sula is written under the background of the Civil Rights Movement and the second wave of feminist movement.The novel mainly portrays two black female characters'whole life.The main character Sula's life is a lifelong fight.This thesis mainly analyzes Toni Morrison's Sula from a feminist approach,especially from the angle of androgyny.
