Cultural Elements in the Translation of Tourist Materials

摘要

Although on the surface translation deals with language,it actually deals with cultures due to the special relationship between language and culture.As a result,cultural elements play an important role in the translation of tourist materials.The paper starts with the features of tourist materials and presents three major translation strategies on dealing with different kinds of tourist materials.
