根据具体教学实践案例,从课程设置、教材、教学对象、师资、教法、评估以及课程后调研等七个方面对对安徽医学高等专科学校开设的ESP课程“医学英语”进行描写性研究;教材、分级教学,复合型教学模式是该ESP教学取得成功的关键因素;课程后调查结果显示学生对ESP课程开设、实际教学过程和教学效果等方面有很高的评价和满意度。% The paper aims to make a descriptive study of ESP course“English for Medical Science”offered in Anhui Medical Col⁃lege, which deals with the aspects of course planning, teaching materials, teaching staff, teaching methods, course evaluation and post-course investigation. Teaching materials, classified teaching mode and combination of different teaching methods play key roles in the success of the ESP course teaching practice. The questionnaire shows that students hold positive and satisfactory atti⁃tude towards the ESP course planning, teaching process and teaching effects.
