China's traditional culture has always stressed the ideological education that"renounce evil and turn to virtue"and"loyalty,sincerity,benevolence,righteousness",which particularly focused on the initiation and guidance for children.As the carrier of the elementary education,enlightenment classics is the essence and concentration of Chinese traditional culture.But it is also a difficult problem for translators that how to perfect the English translation of enlightenment classics in a strategy way to overseas readers.Tianjin Foreign Studies University professor Zhao Yanchun's TheThreeWordPrimerprovides solutions to such prob-lem.His English version has faithful content,exquisite style and what' s more, it is the first Three Character Classic with"even rhyme style of three-word figure"in the world and it has rhythmic sentences and rhythm sensation.Through the English version of Zhao, the author puts forward some views and thoughts on the translation strategies of the enlightenment classics.
