Anne of Green Gables is one of the famous works of Canadian children's literature. It was created by Canadian author-ess Lucy Maud Montgomery in 1908. The novel tells a story about the innocent and kind heroine—Anne, who is an orphan and adopted by Matthew and Marilla of the green gable at her age of 11.
