Objective To explore the effects of strengthened communication with the patients' family members for improving the nursing satisfaction in psychiatric intensive ward. Methods From April to June 2010,200 patients from the psychiatric intensive ward were classified into control group (n= 100, from January to March) and observation group(n= 100 ,from April to June). The control group adopted the routine communication method to consult the family members of patients. The nurses of the observation group received communication skills training. The training content included that the nurses would actively contact with the patients' family members before visiting the patients and reinforcing the communication with the family members during thevisiting time. A survey on the nursing satisfaction was conducted to patients'family members of both groups. Results Nursing satisfaction in nursing service, nursing quality,life care and demand, satisfaction of the patients' family member in the research group were significantly higher than those of the control group(P＜0. 05). Conclusion Reinforcing the communication among doctornurse- the patient' familymember can help improve the nursing satisfaction and reduce nursing complains of the patients' family members as well as promote the patients' rehabilitation and social effects.%目的 探讨精神科重症病房加强与患者家属探视时的有效沟通对提高护理工作满意度的效果.方法 以2010年1-6月入住精神科重症病房的200例患者为研究对象,其中1-3月入住的100例患者为对照组,4-6月入住的100例患者为观察组,对照组在家属探视时采用传统沟通,患者家属询问时给予解答;观察组先对护士进行沟通技巧的培训,采取在家属探视前主动沟通、探视时加强有效沟通并及时信息反馈.对两组家属进行满意度问卷调查.结果 观察组患者家属在护士服务态度、护理质量、生活照顾、需求满足等方面的护理满意度均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05).结论 通过加强精神科重症病房家属探视时护、患和家属三方的有效沟通,减少了护理投诉,有效提高了患者家属的满意度,不仅有助于患者的康复,而且也赢得了良好的社会效益.
