理工科院校英语专业复合型人才培养的思考

摘要

随着全球经济一体化进程的推进，社会对复合型英语人才的需求不断扩大，理工科院校英语专业的人才培养面临着严峻的挑战。为了满足新时期社会经济发展的要求，理工科院校必须认识到自身英语专业建设存在的问题，并依托特色学科的优势，从培养目标的确立、专业设置的完善、课程体系的优化、教学模式的革新、教学资源的建设等方面，积极探索构建英语专业复合型人才培养模式。%With the development of economic globalization,the English majors of institutes of science and engineering have been faced with severe challenges due to an increasing social demand for inter-disciplinary talents.In order to meet the requirement of social and economic development in the new era,institutes of science and engineering are required to construct the training mode to cultivate qualified inter-disciplinary English majors of their own features.
