Progesterone receptor content in cancerous endometrium is significantly lower than in the normal,and decline trend is seen as the endometrial hyperplasia degree increases. Progesterone function on the endometrial cells and endometrial cancer cells is a multi-link,however the specific mechanism is still not clear. Here is to make a deeper understanding of progesterone receptors in endometrial carcinoma, as well as possible mechanisms of the application of progesterone treating endometrial cancer.
