The automatic tool changer ( ATC) device is an important embodiment for functionality and advance of CNC machining center, and it is the basic condition of multi process automatic processing .Through the analysis of its control principle and structure characteristics , combined with production practice , the common faults , causes and treatment measures were summarized .It has a strong practical significance in terms of renovation and maintenance of machine tools .%数控加工中心ATC装置是其功能性与先进性的重要体现，是多工序自动加工的基本条件。通过对其控制原理与结构特点的分析，结合生产实际，归纳常见故障、原因及处理措施，在机床改造与维修方面具有较强的现实意义。
