In this paper, we reiterated the role of Xiangyang as an important base of agricultural production, energy and raw material, modern equipment manufacturing and high-tech industries in China and a major comprehensive transportation hub of the country, and then analyzed the challenges the city faced in its integrated economic development. Next, we analyzed the development status of the logistics industry in Xiangyang against the background of regional economic integration with respect to policy, economy, environment and logistics infrastructure, etc., pointed out the problems existing therein, summarized the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of the city in developing the logistics industry, and at the end, presented some relevant countermeasures and suggestions.%指出襄阳市作为全国重要的农产品生产基地、能源原材料基地、现代装备制造业和高技术产业基地以及综合交通运输枢纽的重要地位.分析了襄阳市物流业在区域经济一体化发展中面临的挑战.从政策、经济、环境、物流基础等方面对区域经济一体化背景下的襄阳市物流业发展进行了分析,指出了襄阳市物流业发展存在的问题,并提出了对策与建议,以期为襄阳市现代物流业的发展提供参考.
