王韬游记中的自我形象与幻象

摘要

Wang Tao went to Europe with the missionary James Legge from 1867 to 1870.In his trave-loge Manyousuilu,Wang tao work hard to mold the self -image of Oriental Confucianist and Romantic lite-rati,who held lecture in the Oxford University,took part in all kinds of social events and was well -ac-cepted by the westerners.While in the 19th century,the objetcive image about Wang tao was the image of Chinese Lady with the sense of misreading,novelty -seeking and ridiculous from the westerners.%王韬于1867年年底至1870年初跟随英国传教士理雅各赴欧洲漫游,在他的游记《漫游随录》中,王韬着力塑造了在牛津大学等高等学府讲座,出入社交场合,受到西人追捧的"东方儒者"和"风流才子"的自我形象.然而,在19世纪末,王韬在欧洲漫游期间更为客观的异国形象却是带着西方人误读、猎奇和滑稽色彩的"载尼礼地"(Chinese Lady)形象.
