1.to hold still:静止不动。如: Please hold still while I adjust your tie. If you don’t hold that camera still,you’ll get ablurred picture. 2.to know by sight:会过面,认出(但不熟悉)。宾语通常置于know与by sight之间。如: I have never met our new neighbors:I simplyknow them by sight.
