译家经典，译事典范--吴国珍《〈论语〉最新英文全译全注本》评析

Confucianism has been dominating Chinese traditional culture since Han Dynasty , exerting a significant influence on China and many other foreign countries. Hence , the translation of The Analects of Confucius is of tremendous importance among the Chinese classics, which brings about many English version of it. The paper will analyze Wu Guozhen’s new version: A New Annotated English Version of the Analects of Confucius from three aspects, namely, its accurate translation, special style and accessible language. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that although there may exist something to improve, Wu Guozhen’s translation is still of high standard.%文章在比较诸多《论语》英译本的基础上，从三个侧面探讨吴国珍先生英译的《〈论语〉最新英文全译全注本》，着重讨论其译文的三大特色，即体例独特、译义确切、通俗易懂。并由此得出结论：尽管可能存在一些可资商榷的地方，吴译《论语》仍不失为一部上乘之作。
