面向完整任务提高教学效能的一项课改尝试--以重构商务英语口译教学任务排序为例

         

摘要

First Principles of Instruction advocates a task⁃centered instructional strategy with the content components of knowledge objects as contrasted with the topic⁃by⁃topic approach that typifies more traditional curriculum approaches. This paper discusses and attempts to apply First Principles of Instruction to reform in⁃structional design of Business English Interpreting Training for English majors. The business English interpre⁃ting class is task⁃centered and breaks down with educational components sequence in the real world. Instructors support learners in the form of scaffolding,learner guidance,or coaching,until learners can completely accom⁃plish the tasks,which may help learners facilitate their application of newly acquired knowledge and skills.%首要教学原理提倡在教学过程中面向现实社会中的完整任务设计教学,教学内容的设计转向聚焦任务序列。在商务英语口译教学实践中,尝试运用该原理来重新设计课堂教学,将以任务为中心的教学内容排序替代传统的以主题为中心的教学模式,教师从扶到放,使学习者在任务或者问题情境中掌握知识技能,在融会贯通的基础上实现学习迁移,这些为探寻优质教学之路提供了一种借鉴。
