The concept“world literature” has developed with the emergence of world literature antholo⁃gies. On the selection and editing of Chinese literary works, the Norton Anthology of World Literature, the Longman Anthology of World Literature,and the Bedford Anthology of World Literature are the most significant representatives. They present the image of Chinese literature in a cross⁃cultural texture and give readers an o⁃verall picture of the relevance and universality of world literature.%世界文学作品选是世界文学观念发展的重要成果，其对不同国家或民族文学作品的选编具有多方面的理论和实践意义。就对中国文学作品的选编而言，当代英语世界文学作品选中《诺顿世界文学作品选》《朗文世界文学作品选》和《贝德福德世界文学作品选》颇具代表性。它们以独特的选材角度和灵活的编排方式为读者描绘了跨文化语境中的中国文学形象，凸显了世界文学的内在关联性和共性，揭示了世界文学的发展脉络和整体图景。
