孟子民本思想对和谐社会构建的现实意义

孟子是战国中期儒家学派的重要代表，他继承了孔子“仁”的思想。以人性向善为基础。形成了以‘‘民本”思想为核心内容的“仁政”学说，因其潜深的内涵。至今仍与社会对话。而在与社会对话中闪烁着穿越历史的光芒。文章立足于孟子“民本”思想的核心，从社会主义和谐社会构建的重要原则、物质基础、文化基础、政治保障等多方面分析说明了孟子“民本”思想对当代社会的启示。更好得实现依法治国和以德治国的有机结合．构建社会主义和谐社会。%Mencius was an important representative of Confucianism in the middle part of the Warring States Period. He inherited Confucius＇s ＂benevolence＂ thought and formed the theory of ＂benevolent governance＂ with people-oriented thought as the core content based on the idea that human nature is good. Because of its deep connotation, his theory is still of use in the present society. This article, based on the Mencius＇s people-oriented thought, analyzes the revelation of his theory to the present society from the an- gle of the important principles, material base, cultural foundation, and political security of constructing socialist harmonious society, so as to better realize the integration between rule by virtue and rule by law and build socialist harmonious society.
