汉语中街道的名称一般由方位标记结合地名标记而成。其中，方位标记既可以放在地名标记之前，构成“东长安街”“西长安街”等说法；也可以放在地名标记之后，构成“景山后街”“景山西街”等说法。之所以形成这两种不同的表层言语序列，是因为输入—输出忠实性条件（ IO－F）等动因交互作用的结果。%The Chinese names of streets consist of direction markers and place markers .If the direction marker precedes the place marker , there would be expressions of “Dong Chang ’ an Jie”, “Xi Chang ’ an Jie”;if the place marker precedes the direction marker , there would be expressions of “Jingshan Hou Jie”,“Jingshan Xi Jie”.It is the interactions of so many motivations such as input -output faithfulness that define the two different types of surface structure .
