历史的“焦虑”：李劼人新旧《大波》的创作困境

There are obvious differences between the two versions of LI Jie-ren’s Da Bo in characterization, narrative strategy and the expression of local culture , which causes deficiencies of the artistic characteristics in the two versions respectively .The reason is that there was a wrong creative viewpoint on writing of histori-cal novels which was shared by writers of LI Jieren ’ s time, that is to say , they considered the sum of the historical phenomena as history itself .This is of great significance for having a comprehensive understanding of Da Bo’ s artistic features and the internal mechanism of LI Jieren ’ s creation of historical novels .%李劼人新旧两个版本的《大波》在人物塑造、叙述策略以及地方文化表现方面都有着重大差异，这些差异造成了新旧《大波》在艺术特点上各自的缺陷。个中根源在于，李劼人在新旧《大波》创作的背后有一种共同的历史小说创作观误区，即在创作中把历史的现象总和看成了历史本身，这一点对于我们全面看待《大波》的艺术特点以及深入认识李劼人历史小说创作的内在机制有着重要意义。
