Most ancient ethnic groups in Western Region believed in Zoroastrianism, and also played a certain role in spreading Zoroastrianism. In the long-term fusion, some ideas, thoughts and behavioral patterns of Zoroastrianism were accepted by many ethnic groups in Xinjiang, and have been integrated into the customs of these people—a part of their traditional culture.
