浅谈辛克莱《屠场》的现实意义及启示

This novel assaulted food production and processing industry in America.With the aid of public opinnion,it directly led to the introduction of laws and regulations about safety in this industry,and even the establishment of corresponding supervision and administration institutions. The novel created a profound and positive effect on American food and drug industry. After a century,the problems issued in“The Jungle”are still of great realistic significance,especially to China’s food safety.%作为“揭露黑幕运动”中的重要文学作品，厄普顿·辛克莱创作的长篇小说《屠场》展现出强大的社会批判力度和影响力。小说的出版对美国食品生产加工领域造成巨大的冲击，在公众舆论的配合下，直接促成了两部重要的食品安全生产法规--《纯净食品及药物管理法》和《肉类检查法》的出台，以及相应的监督管理机构的设立，对美国的食品药品产业产生了深远的良性影响。一个世纪之后，《屠场》里所反映的问题仍然具有现实意义，特别对解决中国的食品安全有重要的启示。
