In this paper,the dynamic characteristics of travelling wave convection are investigated using the numerical simulation of amplitude equations of fluid mechanics and through the finite difference scheme.Traveling wave convection pattern featured by traveling wave convection am-plitude is studied.The partition of amplitude state for different cavity length with the different group velocity and the changing relative Rayleigh are further discussed.Based on variation of the amplitude,flow is divided into time dependent region(TD),time independent region (TI)and no amplitude region(Null).%采用有限差分格式,通过流体力学振幅方程组的数值模拟,探讨了行波对流的动力特性。研究了表征行波对流振幅特征的行波对流斑图,并进一步研究了不同腔体长度下振幅状态随群速度及相对瑞利数变化的分区情况。研究结果表明,随着其振幅变化,行波振幅状态分为时间依赖区(TD)、时间独立区(TI)和无振幅区(Null)。
