新闻英语中的语态转换分析——以伊拉克战争报道为例

摘要

Based on critical linguistics, this thesis analyzes how one of those linguistic features, the voice, embodies the hidden ideology in news discourse. The thesis analyzes the voice transformation in 45 news reports about Iraq wax which are published in three English newspapers, China Daily, New York Times, and The Times. The analysis of voice transformation con- tributes to the fact that the position taken by the news reports in these three newspapers are different. Therefore, this study leads to the conclusion that the analysis of voice transformation in news reports on the same event in different newspapers can expose the hidden ideology in news discourse.%本文以批评语言学理论为基础，研究语态的选择如何体现新闻语篇中所隐舍的意识形态。文章重点分析三份英文报纸（《中国日报》、《纽约时报》、《泰晤士报》）中45篇对伊拉克战争新闻报道中的语态转换，结论表明三份报纸对战争的报道其立场有所差别，而通过分析不同报纸对同一事件的报道中的语态转挟可以揭示其中所隐含的意识形态。
