The epic beauty inherited by heroic epics,the romantic beauty radiated by subjective magnificent imagination,and the mysterious beauty related to ancient worship are several major traditions of the aesthetic ideal of Mongolian literature.This paper holds that the three major manifestations of epic beauty in Mongolian contemporary novels are revolutionary epic of revolutionary heroes,reform epic of reform heroes and spiritual epic of folk heroes.They are embodied in the rebirth of traditional heroism and the beauty of tragic epic,which evolve from the early heroic epic of force to the later heroic epic of spirit.
