Faced with the situation that “tradition” had been neglected and abandoned, T. S. Eliot resolutely attached great importance to it and gave it full interpretation from particular point of view so as to re-establish its important position in literary criticism. To explore his view of “tradition” deeply can provide new perspective and important reference for the development of modern theory of literary criticism.%面对“传统”遭遇忽视和放逐，艾略特毅然重视传统，并独具慧眼地对“传统”的内涵进行了极具深度地重新阐释，从而再次确立了“传统”在文学批评中的重要地位。对艾略特文学批评视域下的“传统”观进行深入探究，可以为现代的文学批评理论发展提供新的视角和重要参考。
