基于海西经济区的全要素生产率研究及其实证分析

摘要

运用海西经济区20个城市的1995-2012年度的面板数据，采用Malmquist TFP指数，考察了各个城市全要素生产率的变化。研究分两阶段进行，第一阶段1995-2002年，主要是技术效率推动了海西经济区各个城市全要素的增长；第二阶段2003-2012年，主要是技术进步推动了海西经济区各个城市全要素的增长。整体上看，海西经济区全要素生产率虽然已达到效率前沿，但从Tobit回归模型的结果来看，外商投资、产业结构调整、进口、出口对全要素生产率的增长影响不显著。因此，海西经济区产业科技水平较低，整体经济还未从粗放型的发展模式向集约型发展模式转变。最后，提出了相关建议。%This paper studies the changes of TFP of the 20 cities of the Haixi economic zone on the panel data from 1995 to 2012 by applying the Malmquist TFP Index. From 1995 to 2002 the increase of technical efficiency promoted the increase of TFP ,while from 2003 to 2012 the technical progress caused the positive increase of TFP. Although the TFP has generally reached the efficiency frontier, from the re-sults of Tobit regression model, foreign investment, industrial restructuring, imports, exports on total factor productivity growth is not significant. Therefore, the overall economy of Haixi Economic Zone has not transformed from extensive to intensive development paradigm.
