Based on the survey and comparative analysis of the examination patterns of “Foreign Business Correspondence”from 12 vocational colleges in China, the article puts forward the proposal of improving the assessment strategies of ESP course, which should combine the assessments of the teacher and the students, procedures and results, in class and af ter class, theory and practice, at campus and outside campus, course learning and certiifcation. So that the teaching ef ifciency will be improved continuously.%通过对国内12所高职院校“外贸英语函电”课程考试方式的调查和分析,发现改进ESP课程评价应将教师评价和学生评价相结合,过程评价和结果评价相结合,课内评价和课外评价相结合,理论评价和实践评价相结合,校内评价与校外评价相结合,课程学习和考证相结合,不断提高ESP课程教学的实效。
