Value nihilism mental condition is increasingly more serious in China. It makes Marx's criticism of nihilism all the more important. There are two views on the relationships between Marxist philosophy and value nihilism. One view considers that Marx himself was a nihilist. The other view maintains that Marx devoted himself to the criticizing and overcoming of nihilism. Domes-tic scholars consider that Marxist philosophy has not only provided ideological resources for overcoming nihilism, but also the method and path. But scholars hold their own opinions about how Marx devoted himself to criticizing and overcoming nihilism. Researches on this subject in the last decade have had abundant and creative theoretical achievements,new research directions and methods.
