The trend of modern art can be seen from the development of fiber art. This paper discusses the content and method of fiber artistic creation under consciousness process in such aspects as regression of handicraft practice and consciousness process and appreciates aesthetic values of fiber art which changes from focusing on handicraft to favoring consciousness process and the culture behind form revolution. It believes that fiber art can change people's conventional concept of interior space and the overall space can be transformed through the use of new raw materials. Fiber art is easy to comprehend and communicate and changes with the changing times. Creators of modern fiber art are positively responding to ideals of modernists and have restored the spirit of artists in the exploration of fiber art.
