His identity at that time covered up an important fact: From the end of the 1920s to the middle 1930s, his literary thoughts belonged to the Left-wing literary trend. Perhaps because of the intense pressure of the literary policy formulated by himself, he erased the traces of his history in the Left-wing literature group by rewriting when he published his book Literature and Language in 1966 . Ren Zhuoxuan‘s literary thought is a meaningful and important specimen, showing the actual state of political ideology in the sphere of literature.
