Involute spur cylindrical gear modeling was carried out by Pro/Engineer software's parametric design functionality. Considering machining tool marks, stresses at involute gear tooth root was analyzed by finite element software ANSYS. The results showed that the forces loaded at different locations of involute profile have different effects on stress-strain at tooth root and the effect on the tooth top is the maximal, i.e. loading at the tooth tips can destroy the gear easily. When different sizes of force were loaded at the same position, the larger load could produce larger stress-strain at tooth root and more easily destroy the gear. When there were knife marks, the marks could easily produce stress concentration and affect the tooth root stress distribution, especially, the marks at the tooth profile could more easily lead to damage.%利用Proe/Engineer软件的参数化设计功能进行渐开线直齿圆柱齿轮进行了建模.通过ANSYS有限元软件对渐开线齿轮考虑加工刀痕进行齿根应力分析.结果表明,力加载在渐开线齿廓上不同位置对齿根应力应变影响是不同的,在齿顶处影响最大SMX1〉SMX2〉SMX3,即在齿顶处加载轮齿容易破坏.在同一位置加载不同大小的力时,载荷大时齿根应力应变大,更易破坏.在有刀痕存在时,刀痕处易产生应力集中,并影响齿根应力分布,特别是在齿廓上时更易破坏。
