梅贻琦通识教育思想对我国高等教育的启示

摘要

梅贻琦是我国现代著名的高等教育家，在他担任清华大学校长期间，以通识教育思想为指导，对清华大学进行了卓有成效的改革，使清华大学由一所留美预备学堂一跃成为久负盛名的高等学府，创造了清华的“黄金时代”。他的通识教育思想至今仍闪烁着智慧的光芒，对我国高等教育的发展仍具有重要的借鉴价值。%Mei Yiqi is well-known as a modem higher educator in China. During his tenure as President of Tsinghua University, he carried out effective reforms according to general education, which made a preparatory school for studying in America become prestigious institutions of higher education, creating a Tsinghua ＂Golden Age＂. Today, his general education ideas are still shining lights of wisdom, which is still important value to the developing of China higher education.
